HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe is a kind of pipe produced by extrusion molding process with high density polyethylene as the main raw material. It has the characteristics of wave shape, strong structure, corrosion resistance, good compression performance and so on.
HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe uses high-density polyethylene as raw material and has strong corrosion resistance. HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe is light in weight, easy to cut, quick and simple to install, and reduces the difficulty of construction.
HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe has tight structure, strong extrusion resistance, and can withstand high loads and pressures. HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe adopts special structural design, and air is filled between the inner and outer walls, so that it has excellent sealing performance.
HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe has very high aging and corrosion resistance, and the service life is more than 50 years. Because of its excellent corrosion resistance, it reduces the number of maintenance and replacement, and saves a lot of manpower, material and financial resources.

Note:
1. This series of pipes are mainly used in urban water supply engineering. The nominal pressure refers to the maximum allowable working pressure of the pipe conveying water at 20ºC.
2. The weight of the above table is calculated according to the average density of 0.95g/cm³, and the outer diameter and wall thickness are taken as the nominal value plus half of the limit deviation.

High density polyethylene (HDPE) has excellent chemical stability, aging resistance and environmental stress cracking resistance. Therefore, Double-wall corrugated pipe produced using HDPE as raw materials also have this characteristic. Its main properties are as follows:
1. Double-wall corrugated pipe can resist strong external pressure.
The outer wall of the Double-wall corrugated pipe is a ring corrugated structure, which greatly improves the ring stiffness of the pipe. Compared with the commonly used PE pipe, it will have a thinner wall thickness under the requirements of the fixed load force on the soil, and the advantages are obvious.

HDPE molecules show excellent chemical stability without polarity. Except for a few strong oxidants, most chemical media are difficult to destroy its molecular structure. Therefore, in the general use of the environment, soil, electricity, acid-base factors will not cause the pipeline damage, will not breed bacteria or scale, smooth pipe wall does not affect the flow rate and flow area.
7. The Double-wall corrugated pipe have a longer service life.
Under the general conditions not exposed to the ultraviolet rays of the sun, the service life of the Double-wall corrugated pipe of HDPE can reach more than 50 years.
8. Double-wall corrugated pipe have excellent wear resistance.
According to German experiments, the wear resistance of HDPE is even several times higher than that of steel pipes.
9. Double-wall corrugated pipe have appropriate deflection.
